Underground Custom Magic (UCMagic) launched last century in 1998. Its main focus is creating packet effects that break the mold of packet effects. When we launched we had 11 effects on the market. Of the 11 effects, the most popular effect was our first, Masterpiece Forgery.
This became popular. Frank Zak pattern his Blue Boy effect after it and Card-Shark also put out an almost identical version. Fast forward and I’m back. It’s a new century and I have a few new ideas. “Great thoughts come to those who wait”. Although I’m not carrying the whole line of 1998, a couple will be making a resurgence. As you look, you will agree that “Hole Impossible” was worth the wait!
The old broken down wooden table rests in the middle of the darkened room. The only light comes from the full moon shining through the dirty four pane window, cutting a path through the darkness. With each step toward the table, the dust covered floor moans with every step I take. In the center of the dust covered table is a old worn deck of cards. To the side is an half full bottle of Jack. Another step forward. Things scurry in and out of the light running for cover. With each step, the need to take another grows stronger. Once at the tables edge the room went dark. A beam of light splits the blackness and shines down on the old worn cards. I reach for the cards like Arthur did the sword. As I pick up the deck I feel a power rush through my body. A transformation is taking place. The magic fills my need. Destiny is in stone. I am magician!
WHO IS KEITH MERRILL?
Keith did close-up magic in Las Vegas through late 80's through early 90's . Never heard of him? He works hospitality suites for corporations entertaining their clients. He has worked in just about every major hotel in Las Vegas. Currently you can find him behind the bar entertaining the local crowd with his funny and entertaining brand of magic. This is where he is most at home as he has been for the last six years. He is remembered by all by the "Cards on the Ceiling" with money attached. There's always hundreds of dollars dangling from the ceiling with people always asking, "WHY?"
